Jetter Eugene Pierce, 80, of Perth Amboy, passed away on July 13, 2015, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Newark, he resided in Parlin before spending his resting days in Perth Amboy with his daughter-in-law, Lisa Boyd. He was employed by Dellapello Paving Company in Union, NJ, for 25 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 825 in Springfield.

Jetter was pre-deceased by his parents, Cage Bryant and Annie Pierce; his beloved wife, Ruth Pierce in 2007; his son, Atlas Banks in 2006; and his brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandson, Joshua Banks; granddaughters, Deja Boyd, Amber Banks and Yennl Banks; his daughter-in-law, Lisa Boyd, who was his care giver until his very last day; his sisters: Edna Ruffin, Georgia Phillips, Christine Hux, Eula Johnson and Julia Ruffin as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services by the family will be on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 12:00 Noon at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until Noon. Cremation will be private.

He is resting now and at home with his beloved wife, Ruth Pierce and his son, Alan Banks.
