Jerome "Jerry" Neumann, 90, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025 in Tamarac, Florida. He was born in Newark, NJ on November 1, 1934.  Jerry married Heidi Gorad in June 1958. They lived in White Meadow Lake, NJ before moving to Livingston, NJ where they raised their three children.  Before retiring to Florida in 2004, Jerry ran a successful multi-generational business, Essex Cleaning Contractors, in Newark, NJ. In retirement he was very social often found playing cards, singing in the neighborhood choir, and volunteering at the local VA Clinic. He enjoyed dining out with friends. In January 2010 Jerry married Theresa Huntington.

Jerry is predeceased by his former wife, Heidi Neumann.

Surviving Jerry are his wife, Theresa Neumann; his children Allison Tromer (Kevin), Rodd Neumann (Marissa), and Wayne Neumann (Stacy); his beloved grandchildren, Jared, Jeremy, Samuel, Hayden, Dana and Brett; Theresa's daughter, Holly Huntington and Grandsons Shawn and Ryan; and much loved nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 am on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, Union, NJ. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.

Donations in Jerry's honor can be made to the Greater Broward Chapter of The Pap Corps , whose mission is to raise funds for Cancer research at the Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
