Jerome Gale, 93, of Aventura, FL, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015, in Miami, FL.  He was born on January 14, 1922, in Tottenville, Staten Island, NY. He resided in Metuchen, NJ, before moving to Aventura, FL.  He was a graduate of New York University and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was an active member of many charitable organizations. Jerry was on The Board of Directors at The Vi of Aventura, where he chaired the Welcome Committee and enjoyed many close friendships.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Norma (Gross) Gale.

He is survived by his loving daughters Anita Engler and her husband, Michael, of Hollywood, FL, Wendy Levenshon and her husband, Ira, of Miami, FL, his devoted grandson, Daniel Nathan Engler, granddaughters, Ashley, Jamie, and Carly, and great-granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail.

JG will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 am in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Arrangements are entrusted to the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
