Jennie Mereu, 92, of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully on Thursday evening, June 25, 2015, at Bayside Manor in Keansburg.
Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Perth Amboy for most of her life.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony, who died in 1987; her siblings, Angelo Pecorilli, Caroline Zenga, Millie Zenga, Albe Pecorilli, and Evelyn Cassizzi.
Jennie leaves behind her beloved daughter, Janice Mereu, with whom she resided, her brother-in-law, Michael Cassizzi of Lyndhurst, her Goddaughter, Loretta Campagno of Brick, many nieces, nephews and her beloved faithful companion, "Oliver".
Visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2015, from time 4 to 8 pm at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, followed by an entombment in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
