Jeannette Bradbury, 88, of Fords, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
She was born in Preston, England and has resided in Fords since 1955. She was employed in the Customer Service Deptartment of Bambergers Deptment Store in Menlo Park Shopping Center, Edison for many years before she retired. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Fords, and was a member of the Rosary Society at the church. She served with The British Army during World War II. She was a former volunteer at the Roosevelt Care Center, Edison.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William H. Bradbury; her five children: Pauline Johnson and her husband, Frank of Little Egg Harbor; Douglas Bradbury and his wife, Diana of England; Philip Bradbury and his wife Helen of Wisconsin; Jean Bradbury of Fords; and Geoff Bradbury of Arizona; her six grandchildren: Craig, Brian, Courtney, Evan, Amanda, and Jillian; her five great-grandchildren: Jake, Maia, Elizabeth, William and J.B.; her sister, Eileen Jurewicz of Bridgewater; and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 12th at the FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 13th from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
