Jeanne A. Quinto 73 of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest, Thursday January 31, 2013 at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and has resided in Metuchen for the past 59 years.
Jeanne was the office manager for her husband Dr. William Quinto who had his medical practice in the Colonial Village Center in Edison from 1969 to 1991.
Jeanne was a registered nurse graduating from the Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing in Perth Amboy in 1963. She was a member of the JFK Medical Center Auxillary, a member of the Association of Marian Helpers, the 13th of the Month Club, and the Holy Souls Sodality, as well as a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen.
Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Dr. William Quinto in 1991. She is survived by her father, William J. Byrnes, her children Robert Quinto and his wife Amy of Metuchen, William J. Quinto of Edison, Karen Jarvis and her husband William of North Brunswick, and Linda Wicker and her husband Kenneth of Fords, her ten grandchildren Matthew, Casey, and Kyle Quinto, Jacqueline, Austin, and Christian Jarvis, Sydney and Connor Quinto, Mia and Sean Wicker.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 4, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 9:45 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:15 am funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
