Jean M. Walker, 84, of Edison, passed peacefully, with her family at her side, on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at the Parker at McCarrick Care Center, Somerset.
Born in Albany, NY, she had resided in Edison for 40 years.
She retired in 1994 after 30 years as a crossing Guard with Edison Twp.
She was a communicant of St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison, and a member of the Edison Elks Lodge # 2487.
She was predeceased by beloved, husband, Stuart W. Walker (1996).
Jean leaves behind, her daughter, Donna Gentile and her husband Ray, of Fords, her son, Kenneth Walker, Sr. and his wife Ann Marie, of Piscataway, her 5 grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Jennnifer Gentile, Jason Gentile, Ashleigh, and her husband Kevin, Potenski, Kenneth and his wife Roseann Walker, Jr. and Samantha Walker, along with her 7 great-grandchildren; Mila Gentile, Kyle Potenski, Hailey Potenski, Cameron Caruso, and Jared and Patrick Walker and Aubrey Adams.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Flynn and Son /Koyen Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Matthew's Church, interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
