Jean L. Klc, 88 years, of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Twp,  passed peacefully, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Hackensack Meridian /JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born and raised in Perth Amboy, she had resided in Avenel since 1957.

She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the Class of 1957 and Newark State College (Kean University) in 1958 with a B.S. Degree and a Teachers Handicapped Certificate.

She retired in 1996, after 26 years as a Teacher of Special Education, with the Woodbridge Twp Board of Education in School #27 in Colonia.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Perth Amboy since 1951, where she had served as an Elder, an officer and Chair Member and a was a member of the United Presbyterian Women's Fellowship.

She was a member of the Woodbridge Retired Teachers Association and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 58.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Steve Klc who died in 2014,  her brother, Robert G. Hadden and her sister, Juanita Olkusz.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Steven Klc and his wife Colleen Apte, of Arlington, VA and her 2 beloved daughters, Nancie Bullen of Monmouth Junction and Barbara Klc of Cherry Hill.  She is also survived by her 3 dear grandchildren; Kelly Yuhas, Corey Yuhas and his wife Rose, and Andria Bullen.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge
