Obituary

Jean Ann Dudik, 64, of South Plainfield and a former long-term Avenel resident, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born and raised in Perth Amboy to the late Eleanor Pollack and Joseph Botelho, Jean attended Perth Amboy High School. After graduating, Jean found herself having the time of her life competing in dog shows mainly showing Dalmatians.  Her beloved dog, Dolly, once ranked top in the country. She also had a talent for horseback riding. Jean worked at Pathmark for over 30 years, beginning her career in Hopelawn as a cashier and eventually retiring from the Edison location where she spent most of her career.  She loved going to the beach and watching her "shows".  But Jean's most beloved activity was enjoying all the children in her life, especially spending time with her grandkids.

Jean is predeceased by her stepfather Arthur Decker; her siblings Joey Botelho, Judy Botelho, Johnny Botelho, and James Botelho. She is survived by her daughters Jessica Dudik and significant other, Alan O'Celus; Jamie Stitt and husband, Jason and grandsons, Jaxon and Jace; her past partner, John Dudik; her sister, Joan Botelho and life partner, Randy Bazuk; her nephew, Zak Arthur Botelho; along with her long-term devoted significant other, William Lynch.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3p.m. to 7p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863. Cremation will be held privately.
