Obituary

Jean Blessing, 88, went to her rest to be reunited with her beloved husband William on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Originally from Jersey City, Jean was the daughter of the late Herbert and Lillian Molkenbur.  She had an impressive career as the Head Bank Teller in what is now known as the Santander Bank in Woodbridge where she served her customers for over 30 years.  She was married to the late William Blessing who passed just this past December. While they had no children of their own, they thoroughly enjoyed the company of their nieces and nephews. They had a wonderful life together. Jean and Bill both enjoyed the outdoors and having the chance to go camping almost every weekend.  She also loved to spend time doing some knitting.  One thing that was certainly true about Jean, she was the "go to" for any family need.  While it was difficult sometimes, she always felt it was important to "step up" when needed for family.

Although Jeans' family is small, she will be missed terribly by her niece Kathy Fanelli; great-niece Kim Slavik; great-great niece and nephew Serenity Jean and Christian; brother-in-law Martin Blessing, his wife Patricia, and her dear fur baby Cooper.

There will be a service for Jean on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 1:30pm in the mausoleum chapel of Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
