Jason Figurski's Obituary
Jason Figurski, 27, of Edison, passed suddenly from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident early Sunday morning, November 14, 2021.
He was born June 20, 1994, in Perth Amboy, and was formerly of Fords before moving to Edison 20 years ago. He was a graduate of Edison High School with the "Class of 2012." He was a wrestler with Edison High School and later was a volunteer wrestling coach for Edison Township Recreation Department working with elementary school children. He had recently been employed for the last four years, as a Forklift Operator for Fed-Ex Ground in Dayton, NJ.
He leaves behind his beloved parents, Barbara and Tadeusz Figurski, of Edison; his beloved sister, Jessica Figurski of Edison; his beloved girlfriend, Monique Fort; his dear grandmother, Josefa; his godmother, Majka; his godfather, Jurek; his uncles: Krzysztof, Gregorz, Maciej, Wieslaw, Slawomir, Wlodzimierz; his aunts: Wiesia, Grazyna, Beata, Ania, Ewa; his nephews: Lukasz, Beata, Kamil K, Krystian, Kamil, Kasia; his goddaughters: Olivia and Nadia; and members of the families from Poland, Figurski, Kapcia, & Sot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5-8 pm at the Flynn and Son /Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 9:00 am from the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Linden.
