Janice M. Clemens, 77, of Forked River, passed peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, with the love of her family at her side.  Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was formerly a resident of Linden, before moving to Forked River, 15 years ago.  She was a graduate of Linden High School, with the Class of '61.  She was a retired Executive Secretary with Schering Plough in Kenilworth, for over 15 years, before retiring 22 years ago.

Janice was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Emily Ciemniecki and her brother, Edward Ciemniecki, .

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, James J. Clemens; her four beloved children: Jill Brophy and her husband, John, of Saginaw, MI; James Clemens and his wife, Jennifer, of Belford; Joan Insinna and her husband, Eddie, of Staten Island, NY;  and Jeffrey Clemens and his wife, Karen, of Edison; her eight cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Ashley, Michael, Andrew, Katelyn, Kevin, James and Emma; and her siblings, Raymond Ciemniecki and his wife, Pat, of Bradenton FL; Lori Gewirtz and her husband, Richard, of Fanwood; Marilyn Leonard of Warwick, NY; Stanley Ciemniecki and his wife, Lorraine, of Sea Girt; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Ciemniecki of Haddonfield.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 4, 2020, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin on Saturday morning, September 5, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords. Cremation will follow privately.
