Janice Austin, age 86 of Hillsborough, died on Saturday at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough. She was born in Bluefield, VA and resided in Perth Amboy before moving to Hillsborough in 2005.

Janice was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church of Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harless E. Austin who died in 1982, her son, Charles Edward Austin who died in 1993 and her companion, Percy Teeple who died in 2005.

Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Ann Ortlieb and her husband, Christian of Doylestown, PA , Lt Col. Retired Dianna Lynn Flett and her husband, Steven of Stafford, VA and Lisa Marie Temporado and her husband, Brian of Hillsborough and her 9 grandchildren, Kristin, Rebecca, Jacob, Austin, Mitchell, Samuel, and Benjamin, Daniel and Philip.
