Janet Ann Murphy 75, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, December 25, 2018, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, and has resided in Edison for the past 53 years.

Janet was a Registered Nurse at Robert Wood Johnson for 17 years before retiring in 2005.

Janet was predeceased by her husband James A. Murphy in 2007.  She is survived by her sons James A. Jr. of Hunterdon, Brian and his wife Jennifer of Fords, and Gregory of Hampton Roads, VA., and her grandchildren Sean, Matthew, Paige, and Peyton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at the Flynn Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church.  Visitation is Friday from 6-8 pm.
