Janet DeMauro,80, of Metuchen, died April 27 at her daughter's residence. Born September 19,1929 in Newark, NJ, she resided in Metuchen for the last 10 years prior to that she lived in Edison for 30 years.

Mrs. DeMauro was a secretary for the Brother Company. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. She was a fan of
the World Champion New York Yankees, and orginized many social events at the Metuchen Seniors.

She is predeceased by her late husband, Samuel DeMauro, who died in 2002. Late son Sam DeMauro.
Late sister Frances Hammer and late brother Dominic Mascitelli. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bava and her husband Rich of Edison; grandchildren Brad, Jonathan, Kristan, Brittany, Brandon and Sean and one great-grandson, Owen.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 30, at 10 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum in Iselin. Visitation will be on Thusday, April 29 from 4-8 pm.
