It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Scarangella, age 68, of Fords, New Jersey. Jane passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2023.  Jane was born in Jersey City to parents William and Helen Scarangella, whom she was predeceased by.

Jane is survived by her older brother, William Scarangella and his wife, Joyce; nephews: Steven Scarangella and his wife, Michelle and Anthony Scarangella and his wife, Bridget; great-niece, Calianna; great-nephew, Cayden; and, unfortunately, won't have the opportunity to meet great-niece Addisyn and great-nephew Carter. Jane was a devoted employee of Siemens for 42 years where she made many friendships that would last a lifetime. She was a diehard Yankees fan and loved to entertain at the Penn Street Pub.

During her younger years; Jane was an avid traveler; but as time passed, she traded her trips for time spent surrounded by family. Family was one of Jane's biggest joys in life. Having no children of her own, she was like a second mother to her nephews and younger cousins -- most of whom referred to her as "Aunt Jane." She loved hosting family Christmas at her house and was known for decorating for every holiday. She was loved not only by her friends and family, but also by close neighbors whom she considered part of the family.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the funeral home with a 10:30 am Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will be held privately for family only.
