Jane M. Andersen, 86, passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center on November 14, 2016. She was born in Perth Amboy on February 9, 1930. Jane was an Administrative Assistant for Garden State Hospitalization in Perth Amboy.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1947. Jane was a member of the Market Square Seniors. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Andersen; son, William Andersen; two sisters, Barbara Jorgensen and Carolyn Sisolak; and her parents, Peter and Cora Jorgensen.

Jane is survived by a son, Thomas P. Andersen and his wife, Theresa, of Fords; daughter-in-law, Linda Andersen of Hopelawn; grandchildren, Karen and husband, Andrew Egan; Stephanie Andersen; William Andersen and husband, Joseph Buttafucco; Tommy Andersen and wife, Nora; Ryan Andersen and wife, Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Lainie and Hunter.

Visitation will be Sunday 3-7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Monday 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am service at the First Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery.
