James Ronald "Ron" Clark , 96, of Edison, passed peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Haven Hospice Unit at JFK Medical Center Edison.
He was born in Chatham, was formerly of Neptune and has resided in Edison the last 35 years. He was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering.
Mr. Clark was Chief Chemist for over 30 years with Congoleum Corporation, Trenton, where he was credited with obtaining several patents, before retiring in 1980. He was a member of The Clara Barton Social Club in Edison.
He is predeceased by his wife, Olga Maria Clark, who died in 2010. He leaves behind his two daughters, Kathleen Weig and her husband, Walter of Bloomfield and Carol D' Lugo, and her husband, Marvin, of Massachusetts; and his grandson, Michael D' Lugo and his wife, Eve, of Orlando, FL.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 18, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Entombment will follow privately at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway .
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Clark's memory to the NJ Commission for the Blind.
