James Albert "Popeye" Clement, 82 years, of Fords, died Thursday March 25, 2010, at his home. He was born in Perth Amboy, and was a life long resident of Fords.

He was a Truck Driver for Exxon in Linden for over 26 year before retiring in 1974.

He was a communicant of and former usher at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army and was a recipient of the Bronze Star.

Mr. Clement is predeceased by his late wife Rita Clement, who died in 2003. He is survived by his son, Dennis J. Clement and daughter-in-law Janice of Bridgeville, Delaware, his
daughter, Janet Stackiewicz of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, and his 2 grandchildren, Jimmy and Shelly Stackiewicz of Tobyhanna, his great-granddaughter, Allison Stackiewicz, his brothers, Bob Clement of Tampa,Florida, and
Richard Clement of Tequesta, Florida and his sister, Mae Sidun of San Diego, California.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 10 a.m. from the FLYNN AND SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in Fords.

Entombment will follow in St.Gertrude's Mausoleum in Colonia.

Visitation will be on Tuesday March 30, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
