James A. Padden, Jr., 66, of Parlin, died Wednesday May 13, 2015, at home. Born September 23, 1948, in Jersey City he grew up in Port Reading and resided in Parlin for the past 20 years. He was an HVAC mechanic and was self-employed.

He is survivied by 3 daughters: Shannon Padden of Fords; Lisa Daly and husband, Timothy G., of Flemington, NJ; and Tara Padden of Fords; a son, James A. Padden of Fords; grandson, Kyle Daly; brother, Joseph Padden, of Pt. Reading; sisters, Maureen Barsi of Fords and Kathleen Padden.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ.  Friends may join with the family from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Rev. Sean Winters will conduct a prayer service at 11:00AM.
