Jim Maloney, Sr. was born November 19th, 1932

The beginning of a journey that would eventually last over 93 years. He outlasted both his parents, his three siblings, two wives, a daughter in law, and most of his close friends. 

He would be the first to acknowledge the tremendous blessing of never losing any of his three children and the miracle of being a grandfather of three adult children and great grandfather of four adorable young children.

During his life he faced many economic, health, and personal challenges but always overcame the obstacles with mostly good humor and definitely sarcasm.

He mastered many occupations; eventually serving in and retiring from a variety of municipal and state government roles.

But the most impactful life contribution seems to be his quiet, consistent, kind, caring, and supportive relationships he developed in his assisted living communities. It turns out he was more than happy to share with others. He freely gave away his good humor, empathy, good listening skills, along with his Hershey’s mini’s to make someone’s day better - every day.
