James Luke, 83, of Perth Amboy died Tuesday October 11, 2022, at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison.
James was born in Perth Amboy to the late Javis and Alice Luke. After attending high school, James worked in auto maintenance, and then for the Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park Terrace before his retirement. He loved appreciating old cars and working on his home.

James is predeceased by his siblings, Fred, Christina, Charlie, Gladys, Ruby, Melvin, Russell, Henry, Nicky, Ida and Maryanne.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sylvia; his stepson, Albert Reese and granddaughter Nichole. He will be missed dearly by his loved ones, extended family and friends.

Cremation will be held privately under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Please keep the family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
