JAMES G. GUMINA
AGE: 42 EAST BRUNSWICK
James G. Gumina, 42, of East Brunswick died on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in New Brunswick.
He was always the first to say hello, remember what you loved for dinner and eager to share a favorite recipe: Jim was known as "The Chef", Uncle Jimmy, Jimmy G, Best Man, Godfather and Treasured Friend. Jim's loyalty to his long time friends from "the neighborhood" is legendary as are the many memories and stories that reflect upon a life which had more connections and caring than can be recounted. Jim was especially devoted to his family, and was an active volunteer for National Multiple Sclerosis Society and was proud to be on "Team Love". Jim leaves behind many friends, a beloved menagerie of pets, and countless hearts have been touched by his life.
He was predeceased by his father, Vincent J. Gumina (1992). He is survived by his mother, Madeline Gumina of East Brunswick; brother, Vincent B. Gumina and sister-in-law, Linda of Manalapan; two nieces, Kayla and Kyrie; uncle, Vincent A. Muccilli and Aunt Linda of South Carolina.
