James H. Dent, Jr., 46, of Edison, died suddenly on Wednesday November 2, 2011.
He was born in Elizabeth and has resided in Edison since 1977. James graduated from Edison High School in 1983. He was a mechanic for Highland Park Auto for the last two years.

James is predeceased by his father, James H. Dent Sr. He is survived by his mother, Maureen Dent of Edison; his brother, George Dent and his wife Melissa of Kernersville, NC; his two sisters, Cheryl Tepper and her husband Larry of South Plainfield and Rosemary Dent of Edison and her fiancee Matthew Wasserman; his four nieces, one nephew and his girlfriend, Kelly Kerezsi of Edison.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840. A private cremation will follow.
