James R. Aspinwall, 85, of Syracuse, NY, passed away in Jersey City on September 27, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1939, on Staten Island. James was Maintenance Worker for the New York City Housing Authority. James loved sailing on Lake Ontario and enjoyed bowling.

He was predeceased by a sister, Florence Dennihy.

James is survived by a brother, Douglas Aspinwall, and his wife, Donna, of Edison.

Cremation is private.
