Jake Murray, 22, of Middlesex, grandson of the late Deacon James Hewitt, passed away at home on November 6, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1999, in Edison. Jake had resided in Middlesex his entire life. He was a graduate of Middlesex High School, Class of 2017. He was a member of the high school robotics team, Flight Crew 747. Jake loved sports; he was a fan of the Eagles, NY Yankees, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights Football. He also loved fishing and photography.

Jake is survived by his parents, Edward and Claire Murray, of Middlesex; a brother, Stefen Murray, of Middlesex; a sister, Taylor Murray, of Middlesex; maternal grandmother, Eileen Hewitt, of East Brunswick; paternal grandparents, Walter, and Linda Murray, of Fords.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will begin Friday 11 am at the funeral home, followed by an 11:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Cremation will be private.
