Ismael Jose Gomez-Mena, 72, of Perth Amboy entered-into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, surrounded by his family at home.  He was born in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic and lived in Perth Amboy for 30 plus years.  Ismael was a self-employed entrepreneur and had served in the Dominican Republic Military.

Ismael is survived by his wife Francisca Valdez of 30 years, his daughters, Franchesca Gomez and her partner Jeffrey Bodine and Ismelka Gomez and her partner Joseph Pincus; two sisters, Marina Lopez and Fatima Ramirez; his brother, Ubaldo Gomez; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 1-5 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 12 PM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Perth Amboy.  Followed by interment in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
