Isabelle Frankel, 93, of Somerset, passed away on April 24, 2017. She was born December 5, 1923, in Allentown, PA and lived for many years in West Orange, NJ. A retired Registered Nurse, Isabelle was a graduate of the Beth Israel School of Nursing in Newark and Jersey City State College.

She will be missed by her loving family and friends.

Isabelle is predeceased by a grandson, Benjamin Slate, and survived by son, Bill Frankel and his wife, Beth, of Bernardsville; two daughters, Susan Slate and her husband, Jerry, of Lexington, MA, and Judy Frankel of Carlsbad, CA; grandchildren Andrea Slate, and Alexander and Ruth Frankel; granddaughter-in-law, Emily Slate; great-grandsons Adam and Andrew Slate; and nieces, Sarah and Rachel Gruhin.

The family will receive callers on Thursday at 11:00 am followed by an 11:30 am funeral service at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Interment will be in Beth Israel Cemetery, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.
