Irene P. Toth, 90, of, Edison passed peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Plum Run, Ohio , and moved to Edison at the age of 18.
Irene was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords, a member of the American Legion Post # 324, Clara Barton Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years, the Edison First Aid Squad and was a former member of the Clara Barton Seniors.
. She is predeceased by her husband, George V. Toth, who died in 1999 and her daughter, Mary Theresa.
She leaves behind her son, George Toth of Edison and his wife, Terry, her daughters, Georgeann-Tye of Hemet, CA ,Janice Bucholz and her husband, Robert of Prostect, VA , Linda Toth of Guilford, ME, and Susan Brier with whom she resided, her 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will begin on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
