Irene Staniszewski 89, of Perth Amboy entered into eternal rest January 28, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  She was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of the city.

She was a Library Aide at Perth Amboy High School for 10 years before retiring in  2004.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1982.  She is survived by her children Jeffrey and his wife Zully of Perth Amboy, Beth A. of Princeton, and Lisa A. Giambattista and her husband Nicholas of Spring Lake, her niece Beverly Pattillo and her husband Robert, nephews Jeffrey and Ronald Giannotto and several great nephews and niece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday from 7-9 pm.
