Irene Rutkowski (nee Squires), 91, of Iselin, died December 10, 2012, at the Greenbrook Manor Nursing Home. Born in Bayonne, she resided in Rahway and Jersey City. Irene was a graduate of Bayonne High School. She was a homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, Thaddeus Rutkowski, in 1976. She is survived by her son, Peter Rutkowski and his wife Marlene of Fords; daughter, Veronica Vilmin and her husband Arnold of Michigan; sister, Julia Monahan of Jersey City; four grandchildren: Jeannette, Michael, Thaddeus John "TJ", Kristopher; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Clayton.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2012, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Cremation will follow at the Rosehill Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
