Irene Kovach's Obituary
Irene Kovach (nee Bartha), 83, of Edison died January 2, 2011, at her home.
Born in Perth Amboy, she has resided in Edison since 1954. Irene was a Graduate of Woodbridge High School. She volunteered at JFK Medical
Center for the Ladies Auxiliary.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, William Kovach, who died in 2010; three late brothers:
Joseph, Louis, and Ernie Kovach; and two late sisters: Margaret Yelencsics and Helen Cholewa. She is survived by two sons: Jim Kovach and his wife Linda of Metuchen, and Bill Kovach
and his wife Kimberly of Flemington; twin sister, Rose Lankey of Edison; and two grandchildren: Louis and
Rebecca Kovach.
A memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11:00 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ, 08840. Burial of ashes will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 7, from 9:30-11:00 am.
