Irene Brown's Obituary
Irene Brown (nee Kryskowiak), 87, of Perth Amboy died February 3, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
Irene was a life-long resident of Perth Amboy; she resided at State Fayette Gardens for over 40 years. She was a clerk for Asarco for 34 years until the plant closed in 1976. Irene retired from The City of Perth Amboy Comptroller's Office, Payroll Department. She was a member of AARP and a former member of the Asarco 25-year
club. She was a member of the St. Mary's Senior Citizens, the Perth Amboy Seniors and the Olive Street Seniors.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Alan A. Brown, who died in 1968; brothers: Leon and
Edward Kryskowiak and Francis Smith; sisters Florence Carroll and Clara Lizanitz.
Irene is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:00 am at FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery.
