Inez Marrero, 68, of Fords, passed peacefully at her home on Friday, March 29, 2024.  She was born and raised in Bronx, NY, where she had resided prior to moving to the Fords Section of Woodbridge Twp. over 30 years ago.  Inez had been employed as a Pharmaceutical Technician with the Rite Aid Drug Store in Fords, until its closing several years ago.  She enjoyed dancing, was an excellent cook, and most of all, loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Marrero, who died in 2020 and her brother, Henry Santis.

Inez leaves behind her beloved daughter, Alexandra Marrero, with whom she resided and her son, Nicholas Marrero and his wife, Sebrena, of Burlenson, Texas; her six dear grandchildren: Angel Flanagan, Damien F., Brooklyn Ziolkowski, Alezandria, Ashlyn and Aden Marrero; and her sister, Sara Santis, of New York City.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 4 pm until 7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863 with a funeral service to be held at 6:30.   Cremation will follow privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Inez Marrero's memory to the American Cancer Society.

It had been requested by Inez herself, that visitors do not feel the need to wear black when attending the visitation.
