Ida Panconi (nee: Fiorentini), 93, of Edison, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Born in Perth Amboy, she was formerly of Fords and had resided in Edison for the last 65 years. Ida graduated from Perth Amboy High School, with the class of 1939. She was retired many years ago, from the Medical Records Department at Perth Amboy General Hospital in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Panconi was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords and member of the Edison Democratic Club.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Victor Charles Panconi, who died in 2003; her brother, Aldo Fiorentini, and sister, Alma Romeo.

Ida leaves behind her beloved daughter, Michelle Panconi-Rich and her husband, Kevin, of Edison; her devoted brother, Mario J. Fiorentini of Metuchen; her beloved nieces and nephews, Dolores Fiorentini, Geri De Michele, Mona Lisa Fiorentini, Mario S. Fiorentini, D.M.D., and Denise Fiorentini. Also surviving are many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014, at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
