Ida D. Merwin (nee: Robison), 84, of Laurence Harbor died May 23, 2011, at Madison Center Genesis Healthcare in Matawan.
Born in Cardin, Oklahoma, Ida resided in Laurence Harbor for the last 64 years. Prior to Laurence Harbor, Ida resided in Elk Grove, California. Ida was a homemaker. She a member of the Laurence Harbor Community Covenant Church, a life member of the Laurence Harbor Ladies Auxiliary Fire Company #1 and served on the Middlesex County Board of Elections for 50 years in Old Bridge and was a past Judge of the Board of Elections.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M., in 1986. She is survived by her sons, Harry M., Jr. and his wife Kathy of Laurence Harbor and Lee E. of Laurence Harbor; her daughter, Ruth Y. Novatin of Florida;
10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 27, 2011, at 8:30 PM
from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy. Cremation will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
