Obituary

Howard E. Sabo 90 of Fords, entered into eternal rest, October 18, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was born in Staten Island, NY and has resided in Fords for more than 60 years.

He was a machinist at Indiana General Corp. in Keasbey for 35 years before retiring in 1985.

Howard was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church in Fords.

He served his country faithfully in the Army during WW II.

Howard played the drums under the professional name of Howie Taylor and the Gaylords. He was a member of Musicians Local 373 in Perth Amboy.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary A. Sabo in 1995. Howard is survived by his children Howard A. and his wife Annette of Little Silver, David A. and his wife Sharon of Rahway, and Mary Ellen of Fords. He is also survived by his grandchildren Vicki, Tracy, Michael, Stephen, and Emily and great granddaughters Keana, Larysa, and Arabella, his brother Julius and nephew Bob.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
