Howard K. Mattioli, 55, of Hopelawn, passed peacefully, with his loving family at his side, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Glen Ridge and raised in Fords, he had resided in Hopelawn for the last 25 years.
He was a former Truck Driver with Benjamin Moore, and had been an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan.
He was predeceased by his father, John Mattioli, in 2014.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Amanda Mattioli of Manalapan, his wife, Kathleen Burns, his step-daughter, Jeannie Jacklets, at home, his mother, Irma Mattioli of
Manalapan, his brother, Steven Mattioli and his wife Dawn, of Manalapan, and his sister, Rhonda Schultz and her husband Stanley, of Hazlet Twp., and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2-6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. A private cremation will follow.
