Henry J. Karolewicz, 68, of Monroe Twp, NJ, entered into eternal rest, March 9, 2015, at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. He was born in Newark and grew up in Hillside and resided in Fords for 37 years before moving to Monroe 2 years ago.
Henry was a Printing Estimator for several printing companies in NY and NJ for 35 years before retiring in 2002.
He faithfully served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Clara Barton American Legion Post #324 in Edison.
Henry was predeceased by his brother, Joseph. He is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Solinski Karolewicz, and his children, Darren A. and his wife, Amanda, of Fords and Trisha D. Buehler and her husband, Richard, of Manalapan. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Aubrey, Gianna, Logan, and Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
