Henrique Dos Santos, 77, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Robert Wood University Medical Center in Rahway.

Born and raised in Porto Do Carro, Portugal, he was one of eight children born to the late Joaquim Dos Santos and Graciete Branco.  He emigrated, and began his new life in the United States in 1976 where he and his family settled in Perth Amboy, then to the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Township in 1999.  A machinist by trade, Henrique worked as a machine operator for ADM Corporation in Middlesex.  A simple man, he enjoyed the pleasures of time spent with his family, and the times he was able to get out and go fishing.

In addition to his parents, Henrique was preceded in death by his loving wife Palmira in 2001 and brothers-in-law Manuel Almeida, Manuel Barreiro, and Antonio Santos.  He is survived by his beloved daughter Aldina Branco, and her husband Jorge Rodrigues; his loving grandchildren Miranda, Matthew, and Michael Rodrigues; and his devoted siblings Maria Almeida, Leonete Barreiro, Carlos Santos, his wife Mariana, M. Anunciacao Ferreira, her husband João, Valdemar Santos, his wife Adelia, Helena Moteiro, her husband Artur, and Graca Santos.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. where funeral services will begin on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 9:30am. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima Catholic Church, 188 Wayne St., Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
