Henrietta Rosenshein Herbert, age 90 of Perth Amboy, died on Monday at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy.

Henrietta was a graduate of Douglas College, Class of 1940 and worked as a Guidance Counselor at Perth Amboy High School for 30 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Temple Beth Mordecai and the Sisterhood and Hadassah in Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Herbert who died in 1961, her daughter, Jane Herbert who died in 1979, her sister, Edna Bregman and her brother, George Rosenshein.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Jason Miller of Lincoln Park, her two grandchildren, Daniel and Sara and her sister, Belvine Doctofsky of Fairfield, CT.
