Helena D'Amore (nee: Kuripchak), 95, of Fords passed away on February 19, 2012, at JFK Medical Center, Edison.
Born October 6, 1916, in Mt. Carmel, PA, she was formerly of Newark and resided in Fords since 1981. She was an electrical tester for 24 years with Federal Pacific Electric in Newark, retiring in 1976. Helena was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords.
She was predeceased by her husband, Beni C., Sr., in 1996 and her son, Beni C., Jr., in 2011. Surviving is her daughter- in-law, Jean (Glucksman) of Fords; grandchildren, Beni III and Gigi; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Josephine Jones, of GA.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 10:00 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ, with a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to THE ALZHEIMER'S FOUNDATION, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
