Helen Esther Vig, 100, currently of Georgetown, TX, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Autumn Leaves Memory Care in Georgetown, TX. Helen was born in Keasbey, NJ to the late Steven and Marie Deak and was a longtime resident of Fords before moving to Texas two months ago, to be nearer to her dear great grandchildren.

Helen had been employed by White-Westinghouse in Edison for over thirty-two years before retiring.

She was amember of the Magyar Reformed Church of Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 1988, and also by her sister Mary and four brothers; Steve, James, Alex and Joseph.

Surviving are her daughter: Carol Rychlicki and husband Dennis of Georgetown, TX, her sister Elizabeth Shamy of Waretown, NJ,two grandsons Mark Ostroski of Burlington, NJ and Jeffrey Ostroski and wife Brenda, and and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Emma of Georgetown TX.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Tuesday, at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave. Fords. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm.
