Helen Thomas (nee Saraczak), 90, of Edison died October 13, 2010, at JFK Hospital in Edison.

Born April 1, 1920, in Perth Amboy, she resided in Edison since 1957. Helen was a Secretary for the American Publishing Company. She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1938. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and a member of the Clara Barton Seniors Social Club and the Clara Barton Democratic Club.

Helen is predeceased by three brothers: John, Eddie, and Bill; and two sisters: Stacia and Mary. Surviving family members include her husband of 62 years, Charles Thomas of Edison; two sons: Gary Thomas of Edison and Robert Thomas and his wife Joyce of Shrewsbury, MA; a daughter, Diane Thomas of Edison; three grandchildren: R.C. Jr., Stephanie, and Brittany; and three great-grandchildren: Zachary, Alyssa, and Briana.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 18, 2010, at 9:30 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 17, 2010, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
