Helen Dolores Terebush, 89 years old, of Somerset, died Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Heritage Regency Rehab and Nursing Home in Somerset. Born in Perth Amboy on January 31, 1924, she resided in Edison and Fords before moving to Somerset in 1978. Helen had worked at General Motors during WW II assembling Hellcat and Avenger Aircraft which were then sent to England by ship for service. After the war, she was a homemaker and loved to prepare family meals and care for her husband and family; "there's no love, like a Mothers love." She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in New Brunswick.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, John Terebush, in 1976 and her sister, Margaret Ferrigno. Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Petrignani and husband Philip; son, Kenneth Terebush; grandsons, Anthony and Todd Petrignani; brother, Andrew Karolyi; and niece, Sheila Higgins.

Funeral Services will begin Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 10:00AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08840. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the funeral home.
