Helen Boos, 84 of Somerset. passed at home on Friday, November 28, 2014.

Born in Perth Amboy, was formerly of Fords and had resided in Somerset for the last 5 years.

Helen retired 14 years ago as a cafeteria worker for over 20 years at the J.P. Stevens High School in Edison.

Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul H. Boos, who died in 1982, and was the sister of the late Josephine Kiyak and Stanley Sawicz.

She leaves behind, her beloved children, Paul Boos of Matawan and JoAnn Boos with whom she resided, her grandchildren, Bryan Paul Boos of Laurence Harbor and Laura Elizabeth Kenney of Englishtown, her great grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Kenney and Jared Kenney, her brother, Raymond Sawicz of South Amboy and her sister, Delores Klama of Trenton.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
