Helen Anders Rader 96 of Fords, entered into eternal rest Saturday August 5, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Paterson and has resided in Fords for the past 63 years.

Helen was a Registered Nurse having graduated from the Perth Amboy Hospital School of Nursing. She had worked at what is now the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy and then for Dr. William Gadek in Perth Amboy, before retiring to raise her family.  She then went on to be the bookkeeper for her husband's business Rader Painting Contractors.

She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Peace R C Church in Fords.

Helen was predeceased by her husband George in 1998 and her daughter Judith Wendt in 2017.  She is survived by her son William G. and his wife Toni of Bordentown, son-in-law Michael of Fords, her grandchildren; Kimberly, Christine, Douglas, Lindsay, Lydia, Nicole, and Drew, and great-grandchildren; Jackson, Cora, Everly, Leo, and Logan.

Visitation will be on Tuesday August 8, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at 10 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
