Helen Novak, 99, of Fords, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2013, at St. Joseph's Senior Residence in Woodbridge. She was born in Edison and resided in Fords since 1944. Helen was a life-long member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords, as well as a member of the Rosary Society and the Fords – Keasby Senior Citizens.

She was predeceased by her husband, Martin Novak, in 1969; brothers: John, Andrew, Steven, Joseph, and George Zigre; sisters: Mary Patrick and Marjorie Ziemba.
Helen is survived by her son, Robert M. Novak of Whiting; grandson, Aaron R. Novak and his wife Mary Beth of Midlothian, VA; granddaughter, Carrie L. Petosa and her husband Michael of Hazlet; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Jack Novak.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, with a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Viewing will be Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
