Helen (nee: Morris) Uchrin, 82, of Edison, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June, 25, 2013, with her loving family at her side, at the McCarrick Care Center in Somerset .
She was born in Long Branch and had resided in Edison most of her life.
Helen was employed as a supervisor with J.C. Penney Co. in Menlo Park Mall and Woodbridge Center for 25 years before retiring in 1996.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Uchrin who died in 1992, her son, Edward Joseph Uchrin who died in 1998, and her brother, Harry Morris, Jr.
Helen leaves behind her 3 daughters, Nancy Uchrin of Edison, Kathleen Clark, and her husband George, of Cinnaminson, Barbara Van Dermark, and her husband Thomas, of Sayreville, her daughter in law, Patricia Uchrin of Hamilton and her six grandchildren, Thomas and Jaclyn Clark, Thomas Van Dermark and James, Michael and Katie Uchrin.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Flynn & son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Interment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral Home.
