Obituary of Helen C. Manton


Helen C. (Haberkorn) Manton, 95, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Hamilton Arms Center in Lancaster, PA. Mrs. Manton was born in Perth Amboy to the late Albert and Esther Haberkorn and had lived most of her life in Fords before moving to Lancaster six years ago.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
She was a former member of the Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords.
Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin Manton in 1998 and by her sister Alma Johnson.
Surviving are her daughter: Lynn M. Lewis of Lancaster, PA, her two grandchildren Amanda Harting and Mark Lewis and her three great granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation service to follow. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 2:30 pm at the funeral home. To leave online condolences, please visit mitruskafuneralhome.com.
